International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology offers following custom research services:
1. Laboratory of Protein Structure
Protein crystallography:
- Production of recombinant proteins in E. coli,
- Protein crystallization,
- In-house X-ray diffraction data collection,
- Molecular model building and refinement.

2. Laboratory of Bioinformatics and Protein Engineering
The Bujnicki laboratory in IIMCB provides software tools and services for structural analyses of proteins, nucleic acids, and molecular interactions with theoretical and experimental methods:
- prediction and modeling of protein and RNA 3D structures, modeling of macromolecular complexes,
- prediction of function for uncharacterized protein sequences,
- analysis of protein-ligand interactions
- structural analysis of proteins and nucleic acids by circular dichroism,
- Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy,
- analysis of nucleic acids by mass spectrometry (ESI and MALDI)

3. Research Equipment Laboratory & Lab Support
Laboratory offers experimental services and expertise in the field of macromolecular biochemistry and biophysics:
- analysis of molecular interactions by surface plasmon resonance (BIACORE 3000),
- analysis of size, shape and interactions of molecules by analytical ultracentrifugation,
- analysis of thermodynamic parameters of molecules by isothermal titration,
- differential scanning microcalorimetry.
