Prof. Dadlez from IBB PAS among laureates of TEAM grants

The Foundation for Polish Science (FNP) has announced the results of the VII edition of the TEAM programme, which aims to fund projects with the participation of young scientists in the best scientific teams conducting research in the fields of Bio, Info, Techno.

Prof. MichaÅ‚ Dadlez is among receivers of funding money for biophysical research carried out in the Environmental Laboratory of Mass Spectrometry (MS Lab) in the Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics PAS. His team was granted  2 million 936 thousand. PLN for the project "Proteomics in Protein characterization of selected assemblies."

Scientists rewarded in the programme will have to employ in their teams MSc students who completed the third year of study, PhD students or young doctors - four years after obtaining a degree. The team must count at least six young scholars, selected in open competition. The funded scholarships amount from 1000 to 5000 PLN a month, depending on the experience - and a research grant.

In the present edition of the TEAM programme the ten winners received funding totaling 23.65 million PLN for the creation of new research teams.

From 30 July to 30 September 2011 FNP will conduct recruitment for the next edition of the TEAM programme.
